Master Rivera’s martial arts training has taken him to various parts of the World such as Korea, China, and Brazil, as well as various parts of the United States. In visiting Korea he went to Kukiwon, the home of Tae Kwon Do. His visit to China took him to many beautiful places. Some of the cities that he visited were Shanghai, Nanjin, X’ian, The Shaolin Temple, and Beijing.
Master Rivera is currently a part-time instructor at the Meriden Police Academy. He is one of the Physical Fitness Instructors and one of the Defensive Tactics Instructors. Master Rivera has conducted many self defense program with in the local community, such as the Girls Inc., City of Meriden Youth Services program, and Career Day at many of the Elementary schools in Meriden. Master Rivera has also been involved with many city events.
Currently Master Sattler teaches Tang Soo Do at Master Antonio Rivera's studio, Meriden Academy of Martial Arts in Meriden, CT. Besides being a martial artist, Master Sattler is an artist and painter who does freelance art as a sideline. His most recognizable work would be the cover painting of the Grandmaster Jae Chul Shin's first book with the WTSDA.
Master Sattler is employed by the State of Connecticut as a state corrections officer.
Master Sattler continues to learn, grow, and share and looks forward to being a member of the Atlantic-Pacific Tang Soo Do Federation.
Mr. Farquharson attended college at Western New England College where he was awarded a BSBA in Computer Information Systems. He recently graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a MS in Educational Technology. He plans on returning to CCSU to gain a secondary teaching certification. Mr. Farquharson currently tutors at Platt High School in Meriden, CT. Mr. Farquharson competes regularly in the sport of Ultimate Frisbee and coaches girls track at Lyman Hall High School in Wallingford, CT.
Mr. Farquharson holds degrees in Material Science and Marketing. He is currently employed as a marketing manager in the metals industry.
